NFL Picks Week 13

Good morning to some, afternoon to others.  We are getting down to the wire in the NFL and some teams need to win to keep playoff hopes alive.  Will Packers keep it perfect? Do the Redskins have a chance for a big win against the Jets?  I won’t bore you with drivel.  This edition will be REALLY short given the post birthday celebration hangover that fogs my brain.  Hell, maybe it’ll help my picks!  I’m here for you!

Tennessee @ Buffalo

Nate Washington is having a superb season, and so is David Nelson.  What gives?  The running game.  Chris Johnson?  Why not.

Titans 27 – Bills 16

Kansas City @ Chicago

Even if Kyle Orton makes an appearance against his old team that wanted him back, the Bears D is too good overall.

Bears 19 – Chiefs 13

Carolina @ Tampa Bay

The Bucs run defense is terrible.  Deangelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Cam Newton will bowl them over.  No Josh Freeman for Tampa either.

Panthers 31 – Buccaneers 20

Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh

The Bengals played hard in the first matchup but fell short.  They will again today.

Steelers 24 – Bengals 21

Atlanta @ Houston

TJ Yates.  The era begins.  I so want to pick the Falcons here, but I think the Texans find a way to take over, especially with Arian Foster and Ben Tate still on the team.

Texans 23 – Falcons 21

Indianapolis @ New England

Normally this would be the most talked about game of the year.  I say… NEXT!

Patriots 44 – Colts 17

Oakland @ Miami

Do we believe in the Dolphins?  It’s the Christmas season why not!

Dolphins 18 – Raiders 16

Denver @ Minnesota

The Tebow love continues.  Maybe not today.  The Vikings D, mainly Jared Allen, will give him fits today.  No Adrian Peterson again for the Vikings, no problem.

Vikings 26 – Broncos 14

Baltimore @ Cleveland

The Ravens need to keep rolling in order for anyone to take them seriously.  The Browns D is fairly decent, but the Browns schedule helps to inflate that too.

Ravens 30 – Browns 17

Dallas @ Arizona

I’d like to say that the Cowboys will break away in a blowout, but both of these teams are really inconsistant.

Cowboys 21 – Cardinals 13

St. Louis @ San Francisco

The 49ers need to keep winning in order to have a chance for home field in the playoffs with the Packers looking like there is nothing stoping them.  If Sam Bradford doesn’t play, it won’t a worry for the 9’ers.

49ers 28 – Rams 10

Green Bay @ New York Giants

Earlier in the year, not that long ago really, people said this would be the shakey game for the Packers.  We’ve learned that the Giants D sucks and the entire team is slashed with injuries.

Packers 45 – Giants 22

Detroit @ New Orleans (Sunday Night Football – NBC)

This will be a fun one!  Thank you flexible scheduling!  Thank you NBC!  Oh yeah I almost forgot… Fuck you Suh!

Saints 49 – Lions 35
